The Quebec Capitals are announcing a major addition to the roster for next season. Outfielder Jhalan Jackson signed a contract for the 2021 season, formalizing his return to the organization. In the space of about 50 games during the 2019 season, Jackson had an immediate impact with the Capitales, both batting and defensively. Manager Patrick Scalabrini is delighted with Jhalan Jackson’s return to his roster: “He is our most exciting and spectacular player, both batting and defensive. Jhalan is the best hitter in our lineup. I expect him to be one of the best players in the league. We’re going to try to build our offensive around him. He will definitely be a big run producer.” Released from the New York Yankees’ AA affiliate in the spring of 2019, Jackson joined Quebec in June and immediately joined the core of the offensive lineup.
