A walk-off win, a doubleheader, and a couple of strong offensive performances were all on display in the Frontier League Saturday night. Catch up on anything you may have missed with our nightly recap: The New Jersey Jackals forced extra innings with a run in the ninth and then scored three in the tenth for a walk-off win against Équipe Québec 7-6. The game was scoreless until the third, when New Jersey’s Alfredo Marte drove in the first run on a single. Québec answered the next inning when Connor Panas hit a solo home run and Gift Ngoepe hit a two-run home run. The Jackals’ Chris Carpio hit an RBI single and Russ Olive drew a bases-loaded walk that tied the game at 3.
