The bats remained hot Saturday, as there was plenty of offense on display once again. Catch up on the highlights of each game with our nightly recap: The Southern Illinois Miners defeated the Evansville Otters 3-2 on a walk-off double in the ninth by Ian Walters. The scoring started in the first, with the Miners’ Gianfranco Wawoe driving in a run on a groundout. Nolan Earley followed with an RBI single making it 2-0. In the fourth, the Otters evened up the score with an Elijah MacNamee two-run home run. The game then remained tied until the ninth, when Walters came up to the plate with a runner on second and doubled him home to give the Miners the walk-off win.
