Friday night’s games included a number of close, low-scoring contests. Catch up on what you may have missed in our nightly recap of the league’s action: Ryan Hennen tossed his first career complete game shutout for the Washington Wild Things, as they beat the Lake Erie Crushers 1-0. The only run of the game came in the first inning, when Bralin Jackson hit a single and Andrew Sohn scored on an error by first baseman Steve Passatempo. The rest of the game was dominated by the pitching. Hennen gave up just two hits in nine shutout innings, striking out eight in the victory for Washington. In the loss, Lake Erie starter Ryan Feierabend allowed five hits and a walk over seven innings of work. He struck out nine and allowed zero earned runs.
