GRIZZLIES HIRE GATTER AND WEBER TO RUN THE GRIZZLIES MEDIA NETWORK

The Gateway Grizzlies are proud to announce the hiring of two local products, Nate Gatter and T.J. Weber. Nate Gatter, 20, will serve as the club’s play-by-play broadcaster. Weber, 22, will serve as the media relations and broadcasting director and will also serve as the number two broadcaster for the organization. Gatter is currently a junior at the University of Missouri, where he has put together a very impressive resume. In addition to calling Missouri Tiger football, basketball, baseball, and soccer games on 88.1 KCOU, Gatter has also added a lot of experience away from the university. He spent three seasons as a play-by-play broadcaster in summer collegiate baseball, including the Wisconsin Woodchucks of the Northwoods League in 2016 and the Orleans Firebirds of the Cape Cod Baseball League in 2015. Additionally, Gatter calls football and men’s basketball for Lincoln University (NCAA Division II) in Jefferson City. “I’m thrilled to be joining the Grizzlies’ broadcast team,” Gatter said. “As a St. Louis area native, I understand the Grizzlies’ tradition of broadcasting excellence and look forward to protecting, and adding to, the outstanding legacy left by Grizzlies voices of the past.” Gatter has gained experience while also working behind the scenes…
