SAUGET, Ill. –Grizzlie Pitcher Vince Molesky and Beach Bum Shortstop Will Kengor have been named Week 9 Frontier League Pitcher and Player of the Week as chosen by Pointstreak, the official statistical provider of the Frontier League and the Independent Professional Baseball Federation. Vince Molesky of the Gateway Grizzlies had a phenomenal outing on Sunday when Gateway traveled to Michigan and took down the Traverse City Beach Bums in a 2-1, twelve inning affair. The dominant start was the only outing for the righty on the week. He went a total of eight innings pitched, struck out eight, allowed two hits, two walks and no runs. The win sealed up the Grizzlies sweep of the Washington Wild Things. Despite the no-decision, Molesky is 2-5 on the season with a 4.22 ERA over nine starts 55.1 innings pitched). He owns fifty-five strikeouts and twenty-one walks. He also has a 1.25 WHIP. The Montoursville, Pennsylvania native is in his third season as a starter with the Grizzlies after being traded over from the American Association in 2015.
