Gray, Foss Named Starting Pitchers for 2017 All-Star Game

JOLIET, Ill. – One day before the 2017 Frontier League All-Star game, West Manager Dennis Pelfrey and East Manager Jamie Bennett have made their starting pitcher selections. West Manager Dennis Pelfrey has selected his own pitcher in Cody Gray to be his starter. Gray who has won Pitcher of the Week so far this season, is in his third season with the Freedom. In nine starts this season, Gray is 7-1 and has a 3.63 ERA. He has one shutout and forty-two strikeouts. Gray has been a reliable arm for the Freedom in his three years posting an 18-6 career record in thirty three starts. The righty hails from Glendale, Arizona and owns one hundred and forty-five strikeouts. Trevor Foss of the Washington Wild Things will take the mound for the East All-Stars after being selected by manager Jamie Bennett. Foss, in his second season in the Frontier League is 7-3 with eleven starts on the season. His 2.70 ERA is second overall in the League.
