George Lopez Shooting Cable Series at Rascals Game May 18

O’FALLON, Mo. – The River City Rascals are very excited to be hosting legendary comedian George Lopez as he films scenes for his new show at CarShield Field. The documentary will follow Lopez across the country as he interacts with everyday people and explores unique superstitions throughout different cultures. Gates open at 5:35 PM CST on May 18 and fans will have the opportunity to interact from the stands with Lopez and potentially be shown when the show airs in August. During his trip to St. Louis, Lopez will be following local resident Susie Pundmann as she tries to “reverse the curse” she has acquired from singing the National Anthem at Cardinals games. Pundmann sang the Anthem several times for the Cardinals at Busch Stadium, but eventual losses after all of her performances led the Redbirds to ban her from any future bookings. As part of the show, Pundmann will be singing the National Anthem before the Rascals game and hoping for a win with Lopez by her side. Lopez and Pundmann will be filming the first pitch and National Anthem beginning at approximately 6:15 PM. Fans are encouraged to arrive as soon as gates open to secure their seats…
