GAME SUSPENDED BETWEEN CRUSHERS AND WILD THINGS

WASHINGTON, Pa. – The finale of the three game series between the Lake Erie Crushers and Washington Wild Things has been suspended in the bottom of the third inning with no score. The game will be continued as part of a double-header on August 9 at CONSOL Energy Park. The Crushers will have Monday off but continue the road trip, on Tuesday, as they play the Windy City ThunderBolts at Standard Bank Park in Crestwood, Illinois. The Crushers will send right-hander Colin Feldtman (0-0, 2.70) to the mound and the ThunderBolts will start the series with righty Ryan Strombom (1-0, 5.40) on the hill. The first pitch is scheduled for 8:05 PM. The Lake Erie Crushers, the 2009 Frontier League Champions, and 2011 Frontier League Organization of the year, play ball at All Pro Freight Stadium, a 5,000 capacity stadium located in Avon, Ohio. The Frontier League is an independent baseball league with 12 teams operating throughout the Midwest.
