FRONTIER LEAGUE EXTENDS AGREEMENT WITH CALIFORNIA WINTER LEAGUE

The Frontier League announced the extension of their management and marketing agreement with the California Winter League. This extension keeps the California Winter League as the Official Winter League of the Frontier League for the seventh consecutive season. The Frontier League and California Winter League began working together prior to the 2015 season. In the past six years, over 250 California Winter League players have signed contracts with Frontier League teams. An additional 100 players have signed with the Atlantic League, American Association, Can-Am League, and United Shore League during this period. “We were eager to work with a professional baseball league in 2015 to ensure that California Winter League players had the best opportunities anywhere in the world and we are so excited that it has turned into a 7 year relationship with the Frontier League that has seen CWL players become Rookies of the Year, All-Stars, and Champions…
