FORMER BLUE JAY DALTON POMPEY JOINS PROVINCE OF QUEBEC TEAM

The Quebec Capitales today announced the signing of Dalton Pompey. Previously signed to play for the Capitales, Dalton will join the team made up of players from the Quebec Capitales and the Trois-Rivieres Aigles. Dalton Pompey becomes the second Toronto Blue Jays alumnus to sign with for Quebec this summer. At only 28 years old, Dalton Pompey has an impressive track record. A 16th round draft pick in 2010 by Toronto out of John Frasier Secondary School in Mississauga, Ontario, Dalton played for the Toronto Blue Jays in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2018. In total, he played 64 games in the Major Leagues after being one of the Toronto organization’s top prospects. During his career in the minor leagues, the Ontario outfielder posted excellent stats that earned him his promotions and numerous appearances with the Jays.
