SAUGET, Ill. – On Tuesday the 2017 Frontier League Divisional Series kicks off when the Evansville Otters play host to the Schaumburg Boomers and the Washington Wild Things play host to the Florence Freedom. Evansville vs. Schaumburg Matchup On Tuesday and Wednesday, the 2016 Frontier League Champion Otters will host the Schaumburg Boomers at historical Bosses Field for games 1 and 2 for the Divisional playoff series. The Boomers finished the regular season with a franchise record of 66-30. Schaumburg won the seasonal matchup against the Otters, 6-0. Over their last 10, the Boomers went 8-2. The Otters slipped to 4-6. The Boomers will return home to Boomer Stadium for game 3 (4 and 5 if necessary) in Schaumburg, Illinois.
