JOLIET, Ill. – A 2 for 4, 2 RBI performance by Washington Wild Things, Bralin Jackson led the East to a 4-1 victory over the West on Wednesday night at the 2017 Frontier League All-Star game, hosted by the Joliet Slammers. In the top of the third, the West threatened scoring first by Josh Allen (EVN) tripling before Jose Brizuela (FLO) grounded out to keep the game scoreless. Rashad Brown (WSH) legged out an infield single. Seth Spivey (SCH) advanced on an error by West second baseman Josh Allen (EVN). A ball in the dirt gave Spivey the chance and registered a stolen base. That chance ended as Bralin Jackson (WSH) struck out swinging. The East scored first when Kane Sweeney (WSH) doubled to right center. Player of the Week Will Kengor (TC) then smacked a double to right center scoring Sweeney from second. Next, Kyle Pollock (WSH) walked and moved to third following a single by Rashad Brown (WSH), then scoring Kengor.
