Thursday’s highlights included a walk-off win, a late grand slam, and a complete-game shutout. Use this nightly recap to get caught up on those and the rest of the night’s action: Équipe Québec shut out the Tri-City ValleyCats 4-0 after a complete game shutout by starter Miguel Cienfuegos. Raphael Gladu’s two-run blast in the fourth got Québec on the board in the fourth. An inning later, Jeffry Parra singled home Ruben Castro for the third run, and Gladu singled home David Glaude for the fourth and final run. That was all they needed, as Cienfuegos went the full nine shutout innings, allowing eight hits and striking out seven in the commanding win. The Florence Y’alls took the lead late with a grand slam that catapulted them to an 8-5 win over the Schaumburg Boomers.
