Three doubleheaders—all between divisional foes—and some league history all took center stage in Thursday night’s Frontier League action. Read more about every game that took place (or got postponed) with a brief look at them all: The Tri-City ValleyCats took the 2-1 win over the New Jersey Jackals after the resumption of yesterday’s game was called after six innings. The game resumed in the bottom of the fourth inning after being tied 1-1. Nelson Molina led of the sixth inning for the ValleyCats, giving them a 2-1 lead. Then, after a scoreless bottom of the sixth, the clouds rolled in and the game was delayed, and eventually called off after reaching the minimum inning requirement needed to be marked an official game.
