The Capitales de Québec will be able to count on a former New York Mets pitcher, Robert Carson, to fill the position of pitching coach for the 2022 season. The native of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, comes to Québec with a very interesting track record in order to accompany and develop the pitchers of the Capitales towards the next stage of their career. “I’m really looking forward to being able to talk to young players in order to communicate to them what is required in order to excel as a professional player, both on and off the field”, said Carson. “On the mound, I have an approach that’s very focused on attacking the strike zone, so it’ll be interesting to see the impact all of this dynamic will have on the Capitales pitching staff.” After being selected by the Mets in the 14th round of the 2007 entry draft, he worked…
