Two new position players join the 2022 edition of the Capitales de Québec with the signings of outfielder Pedro Gonzalez and infielder Webb Little . Gonzalez, 24, from the Dominican Republic, is a right-handed hitter who started his professional career in 2015 with the Colorado Rockies after being recognized as one of the top international prospects. He was later traded to the Texas Rangers in 2017, a season that saw him finish with impressive batting stats: .294/.364/.476. It was with this organization that his power developed at the A level, hitting 12 home runs in 2018 and 23 the following year, in addition to adding several doubles and triples to his record.
