Originally signed for the 2020 season, Saint John, New Brunswick native Andrew Case has officially committed for the 2021 season with the Capitales. With six seasons of experience in the affiliate ranks, the Canadian reliever will start next season as the mainstay of the bullpen. From 2014 to 2019, Case was part of the Toronto Blue Jays organization, reaching AA and AAA levels. In his career, Case was 131 times the pitcher finishing the game for his team. Of these, 43 are saves, 15 of which are at the AA level. He should therefore get the favor of Patrick Scalabrini in order to close the books in hotly contested matches. “He has experience of these situations.
