BOULDERS TO HOST COLLEGE SUMMER LEAGUE

Rockland County, NY (June 23, 2020) – With college baseball players facing a summer without playing the game, the New York Boulders are filling the void with the announcement that the team will be hosting a wood bat league at Palisade Credit Union Park in Pomona. With the Cape Cod League, New England Collegiate Baseball League and the local Westchester-Rockland Wood Bat Baseball League all shut down for the summer, the Boulders are organizing a four to eight team league of collegians to play at the Park. Players who graduated high school this June and are planning on playing college baseball are also eligible to participate. Pitchers will pay between $750, while position players will pay $1250 for the season. The plan is to have rosters of 20 players that will play a six-week schedule of approximately 25 games.
