SCHAUMBURG, Ill. — The Schaumburg Boomers Media Day is set for Thursday, April 28. Starting at 11:00 am, Boomers players and coaching staff will be available to the media for interviews and photos. Boomers Stadium is located at 1999 S. Springinsguth Rd. in Schaumburg. Don’t miss your first chance to meet the 2016 Boomers roster, who sit poised to make a run at their third Frontier League title in four years. Manager Jamie Bennett spent the offseason adding several key pieces to the lineup, including some familiar faces and newcomers. THURSDAY, APRIL 28 Media Day Schedule Boomers Stadium 1999 S. Springinsguth Rd. Schaumburg, IL 60193 11:00 a.m. – Team and staff luncheon 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. – Media Availability 1:00 p.m. – First Workout The Boomers open their season May 13th on the road at the Evansville Otters, with their home opener the following Friday, May 20th against the Windy City ThunderBolts at 6:30 pm.
