The Trois-Rivieres Aigles announce that they have reached an agreement with American pitcher Tasker Strobel for the 2021 season. The new acquisition of the Aigles, from Avon, Indiana, has already accumulated experience in the Frontier league, playing for the Joliet Slammers in 2017. Prior to joining the Slammers, Strobel played with the Saint Joseph’s College Pumas, a NCAA Division II program, in 2016 and 2017. In his final year with the team, Strobel posted an earned-run average of 3.17 while maintaining a winning record of 7 wins and 3 losses. He later made the leap into the American Association by joining the Gary SouthShore RailCats. In 2020, he played with the Westside Woolly Mammoths in the United Shores Baseball League.
