Additions Made to 2017 All-Star Game Rosters

SAUGET, Ill. – Just days after announcing the 2017 All-Star Game rosters, the Frontier League now announces the final roster additions. The first twenty-four players were voted upon and the managers get to make the final three selections. West All-Stars manager Dennis Pelfrey (Florence Freedom) has selected his own first-baseman Jordan Brower and outfielder Collins Cuthrell to join him and his coaching staff along with the seven other Freedom players in Joliet. Grizzlie pitcher Javier Reynoso and Miner pitcher Ethan Gibbons will make up the final two spots on the West All-Stars roster. Jordan Brower has appeared in all forty-six games for the Freedom. Brower was a member of the Southern Illinois Miners in the beginning of 2016 before going to Florence. With the offensive surge of the Freedom, Brower is batting .302 with twenty-five runs, twelve doubles, four homers, thirty-three RBI and eight stolen bases. Cuthrell, now in his third season in the red and white and has proven to be one of the most well rounded players in the league after appearing in all forty-six games this season. The Rocky Mount native is his hitting .243, with twenty seven runs, ten doubles, three triples, four homers, twenty-nine RBI…
