Wednesday featured a big doubleheader and a few comeback wins. Read more about each of the night’s matchups with our recap on all the action: The Washington Wild Things took both games of the doubleheader with the New York Boulders, and now sit tied for first in the Northeast Division. In game one, the Wild Things scored four times in the fifth to take the lead for good and earn the 5-3 win. A throwing error by pitcher Ryan Hennen in the third inning allowed the Boulders to score the first run of the game. Washington responded with an RBI single in the fourth by Trevor Casanova that tied it, and they went on to score four more in the fifth. Andrew Sohn singled home a run, Grant Heyman was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded, and Casanova singled home two to make it 5-1 Wild Things. The…
