EMPIRE LEAGUE TO PLAY IN CANAM LEAGUE SERIES

TAMPA, FL – The Can-Am League announced on Thursday its first joint partnership with the Empire Professional Baseball League. This summer, the Empire League’s all-star team, the Empire League Grays, will play four games against the 2018 Can-Am League champion Sussex County Miners. The Empire League is extremely excited and Grateful to the CanAm League for this great opportunity and the possible future collaborations. The Empire League will send a team of 25-28 players selected at this years Empire League Spring Training Tryout camp to play in the CanAm League series versus the 2018 CanAm League Champions the Sussex County Miners in June and July in Sussex County. Players will have the opportunity to not only play and get the experience at the level of the CanAm League but will also be evaluated for potential opportunities with the CanAm League teams. The Grays and Miners will face off in four games at Sussex County’s Skylands Stadium: a doubleheader on Tuesday, June 11 at 5:05 p.m. and single games on Tuesday, July 2 and Wednesday, July 3 at 6:05 p.m. The games will count in the standings and replace the Miners’ originally scheduled games against Cuba’s national team July 2-3. “I…
