Both the top two batters in the Boulders’ batting order pushed three runs across the plate propelling Rockland to a 9-2 win against the Ottawa Champions. Leadoff man CF Jared McDonald (pictured) went 1-for-3 with three RBI and a run scored and SS Junior Arrojo, batting second, went 2-for-5 with three RBI and a run scored. C Alex DeBellis and 2B Ray Frias also had strong days at the plate as they both had two hits and two runs scored. That was enough run support for starting pitcher Bo Budkevics who earned the win for working eight scoreless innings and striking out 11 batters.
