AUGUST 11 LEAGUE RECAP Quebec 6, Sussex County 0 – Box Score Starting pitcher Brett Lee and two relievers combined on an eight-hit shutout as Quebec downed Sussex County, 6-0. The Capitales have won the first three in the series and look to go for the sweep tomorrow afternoon. Lee went the first seven innings of the contest and gave up three walks and six hits while striking out two in a 110-pitch outing. The bullpen duo of Andrew Elliott and Mike Hepple each tossed an inning of relief and combined to allow two hits and a walk. Lee earned the victory and is now 3-3 on the year. Quebec leadoff hitter Yordan Manduley went 3-for-5 with two runs scored and two RBIs while 3B TJ White added a solo home run in a 2-for-4 night. Shortstop Mikey Reynolds and CF Jayce Ray each had a 2-for-4 game in the loss for the Miners. Ottawa 6, Rockland 2 – Box Score The Ottawa Champions jumped out to a 5-0 lead after two innings of play and would cruise from there to a 6-2 victory over Rockland.
