JULY 6 LEAGUE RECAP Photo Courtesy: Rockland Boulders Rockland 5, Trois-Rivieres 2 – Box Score The 6-7-8 hitters led the way for Rockland as they defeated Trois-Rivieres by the score of 5-2. Leftfielder Kevin Krause (pictured), CF Mike Montville and 2B Jared McDonald were solid offensively tonight as they went a combined 5-for-10 at the plate with two runs scored and four RBIs. The trio altogether collected five of the team’s six hits and drove in four of their five runs. The Boulders scored a run in the second inning to go ahead 1-0 and then put the game of reach with four runs over the fourth, fifth and sixth innings. Rockland starting pitcher Justin Brantley allowed two earned runs over 5 2/3 innings of work to nab the win. Brantley gave up three hits and four walks while striking out seven. The righty is now 3-0 on the season. For the Aigles in the loss, leadoff hitter David Glaude went 1-for-4 with a double and two RBI.
