A three-run sixth inning propelled the Miners to a 4-1 matinee win over the Champions at Skylands Stadium. After 3B Jay Baum hit a one-out double, DH Juan Duran (pictured) hit a two-run home run that turned a 1-0 lead into 3-0. CF Alexi Colon added a solo homer later in the frame, and the Miners led by four. Earlier in the day, 2B Rubi Silva opened the scoring with an RBI groundout in the first inning.
