STOCK DRIVES IN SEVEN, JACKALS ROLL MINERS

The Jackals scored five runs in the first inning and six more in the third en route to an early lead they would not relinquish in a 16-7 win over the Miners. In the first inning, C Richard Stock (pictured) and 2B Taylor Brennan hit back-to-back two-RBI doubles, and Stock hit a three-run homer in the third. Stock’s monster game continued with a two-RBI single in the fifth, and RF Johnny Bladel capped the scoring with a two-run homer in the sixth. Stock finished with three hits and seven RBI on the day, one of three Jackals with a three-hit game.
