The official statistician of the Can-Am League, Pointstreak, has announced that Rockland Boulders RHP Markus Solbach (pictured) has been named this week’s Pointstreak Pitcher of the Week for the week ending August 13. This week, Solbach made a strong start on Saturday against the Trois-Rivieres Aigles at home. Over 7.2 innings, he allowed one run on five hits, walking just one hitter and striking out six. Solbach picked up the win in a 4-1 Rockland triumph.
