June 27 Recap Shikoku Island 12, Trois-Rivieres 11 – (10 Innings – Completion of Suspended Game from June 26) – Box Score Designated hitter Takai Yuka (pictured) singled home SS Sendo Katsuya with the game winning run in the bottom of the 10th inning as Shikoku Island beat Trois-Rivieres in walk-off fashion, 12-11. Shikoku Island pounded out 20 hits in the contest and scored at least a run in every inning except the seventh and the ninth. Six batters had multi-hit games for Shikoku Island, including RF Shirakata Katsuya who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs scored and two RBIs. Yuka had four hits in five at-bats along with a run and five RBIs while CF Kishi Junichiro and 3B Nakamura Michitaro each collected three hits and scored two runs.
