JULY 22 AFTERNOON RECAP Photo Courtesy: Trois-Rivieres Aigles Trois-Rivieres 8, Ottawa 1 (10 Innings) – Box Score Trois-Rivieres scored seven big runs in the top of the 10th inning to defeat Ottawa by the score of 8-1. The Champions tallied their only run in the first inning off a 2B Zak Colby double. The score would stay 1-0 until the ninth inning when Aigles LF Alexi Colon hit a sacrifice fly to score 3B Taylor Brennan (pictured) and tie the contest up at 1-1. The game moved onto extra innings where Trois-Rivieres put the game away by scoring the seven runs in the 10th, four of which came off a grand slam from Brennan. Brennan went 2-for-5 with two runs scored and four RBIs while CF Alberth Martinez had a pair of hits in five at-bats and two runs batted in. Aigles pitcher Angel Rincon tossed two scoreless of relief to earn his second win of the year. Rincon gave up two hits and struck out a batter in the seven batters he faced.
