SANDOVAL SENSATIONAL IN JACKALS' WIN

SS Rylan Sandoval (pictured) went 4-5 with two RBI and a run scored to pace the New Jersey Jackals’ offense in their 7-2 victory over Trois Rivieres. Jackals’ starter Matt Loosen provided a stellar outing on the mound throwing seven innings, allowing only two earned runs on four hits to earn his first win of the season. Trailing 2-1 in the third inning, the Jackals would score five runs over the next two frames combined to take the lead. In other Can-Am League action, Ottawa defeated Sussex County 1-0 and Quebec defeated Rockland 10-1.
