SALAZAR SECURES ROCKLAND'S NINTH WIN

Seven runs combined in the first two innings propelled the Rockland Boulders to an 8-5 victory over the Quebec Capitales. Starter Richard Salazar (pictured) earned his second win of the year throwing six innings, allowing just three earned runs on six hits and reliever Hector Nelo logged the save. Boulders’ CF Jared McDonald went 2-for-3 with a home run, three runs scored and two RBI while 3B Mike Fransoso went 3-for-4 to lead Rockland’s offense.
