RUSCH'S COMPLETE GAME SHUTOUT RESULTS IN PITCHER OF THE WEEK HONOR

The official statistician of the Can-Am League, Pointstreak, has announced that Trois-Rivieres Aigles RHP Matt Rusch (pictured) has been named this week’s Pointstreak Pitcher of the Week for the week ending August 27. Rusch tossed seven shutout innings on Thursday in a 1-0 win against the Ottawa Champions on the road. Over his seven frames, Rusch scattered three hits and a walk, and struck out eight. Since the game was part of a doubleheader, Rusch earned a complete game with his effort.
