RUSCH NAMED PITCHER OF THE WEEK

The official statistician of the Can-Am League, Pointstreak, has announced that Trois-Rivieres Aigles’ RHP Matthew Rusch (pictured) has been named this week’s Pointstreak Pitcher of the Week for the week ending July 3rd. Rusch was dominant on the mound this week in both of his starts. On June 28, he received the win on the hill leading Trois-Rivieres to a 10-1 victory over Quebec where he tossed six scoreless innings, allowing just four hits while fanning six batters.
