Behind an excellent outing from starter Francisco Rodriguez (pictured), the Sussex County Miners defeated the Trois-Rivieres Aigles 4-2 in the first game of their day/night doubleheader at Skylands Park. Rodriguez earned the win going seven strong innings, while allowing just two earned runs on five hits with five strikeouts to collect his second victory. Reliever Andres Santiago logged the save in relief for throwing a scoreless ninth inning.
