June 19 Recap Photo Courtesy: New Jersey Jackals New Jersey 3, Ottawa 2 (Game 1) The New Jersey Jackals capitalized on two Ottawa Champions errors and held on to win the first game of a doubleheader by a score of 3-2 at Yogi Berra Stadium on Wednesday night. Conrad Gregor went 2-for-2 with a walk and a run scored in the opener for New Jersey. Richard Stock’s RBI single in the third inning would prove to be the margin of victory for the Jackals, with Alfredo Marte and Chase Smart also had RBI hits. Reece Karalus and Dylan Brammer threw 2 1/3 innings of scoreless relief to earn the win and save respectively for the Jackals. Danny Garcia allowed three unearned runs in taking the hard luck loss.
