SEPTEMBER 8 PLAYOFF RECAP Photo Courtesy: Quebec Capitales Quebec 7, Rockland 3 (Quebec wins series, 3-1) – Box Score Quebec will get the opportunity to repeat as Can-Am League champions as they advanced to the league championship series with a 7-3 win over Rockland. The Capitales scored four runs in the sixth inning to overcome a 3-2 deficit and cruise to the decisive victory. The Capitales had 11 hits in the game with four batters having multi-hit games. Zach Wilson went 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and an RBI while Maxx Tissenbaum (pictured) added a pair of hits in four at-bats and three runs batted in. Yordan Manduley and James McOwen each chipped in two hits as well for Quebec and Kalian Sams launched his third home run of the postseason. Capitales pitcher Jay Johnson threw three scoreless innings of relief to notch his second win of the series. Johnson allowed a hit and struck out three in the 10 batters that he faced. For Rockland in the loss, Conrad Gregor had a 3-for-4 outing with a home run. Quebec will begin the CLCS on Tuesday night and play the winner of the Trois-Rivieres-Sussex County series.…
