PHILLIES' LUIS GARCIA TO START SEASON IN TRIPLE-A
Chances are he will be back in the majors at some point this season, but for now Luis Garcia is back in Philadelphia’s Triple-A despite 11 strikeouts in 7.2 innings this spring. The 29-year-old, who spent part of 2012 in the Can-Am League, also allowed 11 hits and four walks in those seven appearances with a 5.87 earned run average. He has been in 109 games for the Phillies the past three seasons, posting a 6-7 record and two saves along with a 3.94 ERA.
