PAVLIK PITCHES JACKALS' TO VICTORY

Behind a masterful performance from starter Isaac Pavlik (pictured), the New Jersey Jackals defeated the Ottawa Champions for the second night in a row, this time by a 3-2 final. Pavlik earned the win on the mound holding the Champions scoreless for 6.1 innings while just allowing four hits and striking out six hitters. The Champions, who outhit the Jackals 7-5 in the game, were led by 2B Albert Cartwright and 3B Ryan Brockett who each collected two hits. Ottawa starter Austin Chrismon had an excellent outing hurling six innings, giving up no earned runs on just four hits with eight strikeouts.
