OTTAWA’S RCGT PARK NAMED PLAYING FIELD OF THE YEAR

Durham, N.C. — For the third time in the past four seasons, Ottawa’s Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton Park was named the league’s best playing field. Led by head groundskeeper Guy Vaillancourt, the Champions’ natural-grass playing surface weathered an unusually dry summer to receive the nod from league managers. The artificial-turf surface at Quebec’s Stade Canac was named the league’s top field in 2017, while Ottawa won the honors in 2016 and 2015.
