JULY 25 EVENING LEAGUE RECAP Photo Courtesy: Marc Lafleur/Ottawa Champions Ottawa 8, Quebec 1 (6 Innings) – Box Score Ottawa jumped out to a 4-0 lead after two innings of play and would cruise from there to an 8-1 win over Quebec in a game shortened to 5 ½ innings due to rain. The Champions pounded out 12 hits in the contest with every batter in the lineup collecting at least one. Ottawa DH Sebastien Boucher went 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI while CF Chase Harris added a hit in three at-bats and scored a pair of runs. Left fielder Coco Johnson also chipped in his fifth home run of the season for Ottawa. Champions starting pitcher Austin Chrismon tossed five strong innings and notched his fifth victory of the year. Chrismon allowed an earned run on four hits and struck out six batters. For the Capitales, 1B TJ White went a perfect 2-for-2 with an RBI.
