After dropping the first game of the double header 10-0, the Ottawa Champions came back in game two to earn a 10-3 win against the Rockland Boulders. The Boulders held early leads at 1-0 and 2-1 but three runs in the top of the fourth inning – thanks to a two-RBI double from 1B Ricky Oropesa and a wild pitch later in the frame – gave the Champions the lead for good. Ottawa added an unearned run in the fifth, a three-run home run from SS Daniel Bick (pictured) in the sixth and another pair of unearned runs in the seventh to reach the final margin.Elsewhere, Sussex County topped New Jersey 6-4 and Quebec and Trois-Rivieres were postponed.
