NYISZTOR'S SACRIFICE FLY CARRIES MINERS TO WALK-OFF WIN

Sussex County 2B Steve Nyisztor (pictured) hit a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth inning to score SS Ryan Dent and lift the Miners to a 4-3 walk-off win over the Shikoku Island All-Stars. Shikoku Island had a 3-2 lead going into the seventh inning only to see Sussex County plate a run to tie it and then win it the ninth with the Dent run. Nyisztor went 1-for-3 with a run scored and two RBI.In other Sunday action from the Can-Am League, New Jersey shutout Rockland, 4-0, Ottawa beat Trois-Rivieres, 6-4 (10 innings) and Quebec defeated Cuba, 7-1.
