NINTH-INNING RALLY POWERS QUEBEC PAST OTTAWA

The Quebec Capitales broke a 2-2 tie in the top of the ninth inning to claim a 4-2 win against the Ottawa Champions. C Adam Ehrlich drew a lead-off walk in the top of the ninth and came around to score when DH James McOwen (pictured) singled to right. McOwen, who was 3-for-4 with two RBI, added an insurance run as he scored after SS Yordan Manduley singled to center field. Manduley also had three hits in the game as he went 3-for-5. Reliever Nolan Becker came on in the bottom of the inning and issued a walk but retired the other three batters he faced to earn the save.The two other contests in the Can-Am League on Monday night were rained out.
