NEWTON HOMERS TWICE IN JACKALS' WIN

The New Jersey Jackals scored six runs in the first three innings and never looked back, topping the Rockland Boulders 9-6. SS Eddie Newton (pictured) went 3-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI to pace the Jackals on the night. Four other batters each had multi-hit games including 1B Art Charles and RF Cory Vaughn, who each had three hits. Two of Vaughn’s hits were doubles. LF Daniel Rockett added two hits and a home run and C Richard Stock also had a pair of hits.
