Three Jackals pitchers combined on a one-hitter in a shutout home victory by a 4-0 final over the Boulders. New Jersey came just one out from a no-hitter, as RHP Whit Mayberry worked five hitless innings and RHP Robert Stock (pictured) threw three more. Each pitcher struck out five in their outing. RHP Fernando Cruz retired the first two batters he faced in the ninth inning before a single broke up the no-hitter. Cruz was able to immediately record the final out and end the contest.
