If Peter Mooney can hustle his way onto the Miami Marlins roster it would strike a bright note for both position players and the undersized athlete as well as delivering another nice recommendation for the Can-Am League.The shortstop for New Jersey in the 2015 season has made it one step closer to the promised land of the major leagues by becoming an official non-roster invitee for the Marlins. That in itself says quite a lot since the 27-year-old is listed anywhere from 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8 on various statistical reports.
