The Boulders outlasted the Aigles in a high-scoring affair with a walk-off single to win 9-8 to take the series opener of the weekend series. It was a RBI single from RF Mike Montville (pictured) that won the game with CF Jared McDonald scoring the run to end the game. The run came after 3B Daniel Mateo tied the game for the Aigles in the ninth. The blast was his ninth of the season and his second of the game. He collected four RBIs and scored twice in the loss.Elsewhere, the Capitales defeated the Miners 7-3 and the Champions defeated the Jackals 6-2.
